blogger is wacky

Blogger is totally being wacky on me. My followers started to not show up (new today), BA Benny's blog would crash my browser. I can't leave comments on certain blogs and now when I tried to sign in, it wouldn't let me. I changed my password and everything and it just kicks me back to the sign in part. BOOOOOOO. What is going on???

Well, I decided to download a new browser for my trusty old Mac here and it has certainly done the trick. I can sign in just fine, BA Benny doesn't crash any more (which made me quite happy, as I was very sad that I couldn't read his stuff). I even commented on a post! The kind I couldn't comment on before. Like mine here. I can now comment on my own posts. No idea why I couldn't with the old browser but oh well. I am using this browser only for mail, and Blogger. Kind of a pain but to ensure this one doesn't get all screwy, I have to limit its exposure to this bad old internet. Yay! All is well in blog-o-land!

Oh yeah and 2011 series 2 is coming in two short weeks. I can't wait!

  1. I am very glad to hear that you can read my stuff now. All I have to do is find some time to write some now. What browswe did you change to?

  3. Yeah, followers are still missing as we speak. I changed from a browser called Flock to Camino. I think they both run off of a Firefox architecture, but I could be wrong.

  4. This blank followers seems to be a common thing Mine started missing latenight Wed to Thurs. I can still get to my stuff update and what not my dashboard shows the number of follwers I've got (for both my blogs) but I can't see any of them. It is as if they marked all of them as being private. For my card blog I have 20 followers total one is a mystery person the other 19 I used to be able to see.

  5. Oh and before My Followers disappeared (they are still gone) It wouldn't let me log-out even though I would get a "you are logged out" page. The very next visit I would still be logged in. That was taken care of by clearing all my cache and deleting my history (I also reset all my cookies which meant I had to log back into sites I almost never have to re-log-back in on.)

  6. My followers are still gone, even on the new browser. I imagine it is something going on with Blogger. I had the opposite problem you did. I couldn't sign in, even with my correct password. When I signed in with the wrong password it would tell me that the username or password is incorrect, but when I use the right one, it would kick back to the sign in screen. No error, no nothing.
